The Role of The Middle Leader in Post-Primary School– a Key Member of the School Community (18.01.2018)
This three-week course on Thursday 18th & 25th January and 1st February, aimed at Post-Primary teachers who currently hold or aspire to positions of leadership in their schools will be run over three evening sessions and will address the following themes:
- Establishing and creating a vision for the role.
- Managing Workload.
- Leading task groups.
- Running effective meetings.
- Turning vision into action.
- Managing conflict
- Applying the School Self Evaluation model to in-school initiatives.
- Preparing for Interviews.
The course will have a practical focus and will provide opportunities for participants to engage in discussion and share good practice.
