Interpreting Psychological Reports for Teachers (P/PP) changed to 19.9.24
A webinar for primary and post-primary teachers examining the educational psychological report and interpreting the language in order to plan to support the needs of the pupil. This course is highly practical and will help make the most of the assessment report giving tips and ideas to implement interventions based on the needs of the pupil. We will also examine the different methods of reporting results and look at how to identify priority learning needs based on the information in the psychologist’s report.
Learning outcomes:
- Participants will be enabled to interpret psychological reports to successfully plan for students with Sen
- Participants will understand the relevance of scores in the report and will use these to differentiate practice when teaching students with Sen
- Participants will learn to use the psychological report to inform teaching and to understand the cognitive profile and strengths and weaknesses students have
