FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge for 11-16 year olds Teacher Training 24.10.24
FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge for 11-16 year olds is a fun, robotics-based life skills competition for which teams develop an innovative solution to a real-world problem and build and program an autonomous robot to complete LEGO missions. Throughout the process they develop teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills, to support them in their future careers.
Following the information session, this hands-on workshop is for teachers who wish to enter FIRST® LEGO® League Challenge. Teachers who have their own SPIKE Prime kit should bring them along to the workshop.
Schools in Laois Education Centre catchment area that have already applied are eligible to borrow LEGO® SPIKE Prime Kit from the Centre.
The session would be of most benefit to new teachers/schools, but there are some small changes from last year (and of course a new theme and Robot Game mat) so returning teachers would be welcome to come along too.
