NQT- Child Protection (Primary)

This workshop is informed by Circular 0065/11 (DES), Child Protection Procedures for Primary and Post-Primary Schools (DES: 2011) and the guidelines on Well-Being in Post-Primary Schools (2013). Key responsibilities for teachers with regard to child protection and safety are outlined, including dealing with disclosures, route of referral, and procedures for reporting and recording.
