Supporting Parents in Education (NQT Post-Primary Only)

This workshop focuses on the importance of developing positive working relationships with parents. NQT's are encouraged to work closely with parents to achieve optimum learning outcomes for their pupils/students. Effective communication skills and strategies for building positive relationships are explored through discussion and role-play. Parent-teacher meetings, both formal and in formal, are a key focus of this workshop.
