Playful Approaches to Literacy 29.11.2021
In this webinar participants will go on a journey of looking at storytelling, puppets and a range of playful approaches and how to infuse them into Language Teaching and Learning. This will be based around the Literacy chapter that Catherine has written In Playful Approaches to Teaching and Learning. Each participant will get a copy of it and supporting resources.
This webinar will be supported by a resource pack.
Catherine Gilliland is a Senior Lecturer in Language and Literacy in St Mary's University College, Belfast. She was the Keynote Speaker at the literacy Association of Ireland in 2016 and her work has taken her across Europe to deliver seminars and practical workshops. She was a speaker at the recent World Literacy Summit. She is a regular contributor to the LAI Newsletter and has a chapter published in, 'Playful Approaches to Learning.'
