OIDE Developing Pupil Wellbeing through Physical Education Summer Course 2024
Please Note: This ÓIDE summer course is free of charge. However, a €10.00 Centre administration charge will apply. All Centre Administration charges are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
This face-to-face Primary Physical Education Summer Course will explore how pupil wellbeing can be developed through physical education in a fun, supportive and engaging manner.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore how to develop physical literacy in their school by engaging with a variety of innovative approaches to develop fundamental movement skills, understanding the impact of motivation and confidence, and gaining valuable insight into developing a child’s knowledge and understanding. By developing physical literacy in your PE programme, you can support children in continuing to
participate in physical activity throughout their lifespan, enhancing their overall wellbeing.
This practical, interactive course will give teachers and school leaders an opportunity to reflect on their own experiences of teaching and learning in PE and how to cultivate a positive culture and climate in their school.
